Tournaments
The RSL Football inclusion project runs both local and region tournaments all across Sussex. The aim of the tournaments are to break down inter community barriers by bringing together players from different areas to play with and against each other in a fun, safe and structured environment.
This project is unique in its approach to hosting tournaments and continually aims to set up new formats of the game. In 2008 the project will be hosting the Community Cup a competition that will bring together Schools from all around Sussex to play for the chance of playing at the Withdean stadium before a Brighton first team game and the ultimate prize of playing at Wembley before the League 1 playoff final. Also we will be setting up a Sussex wide street football tournament, a 4v4 tournament at Preston Park, 3v3 tournament at the Sussex Extreme Games, a beach football tournament at Yellow Wave Brighton and a inter holiday course 6aside tournament.
