| Albion Get To Wembley |
A team of under-11s representing Albion in the Community's RSL Football Inclusion Project will experience the dream of playing at Wembley after making it through to the final of the Football League Community Cup.
Players from Orchards Middle School in Worthing will now take on the winners of the northern section before the League One playoff final on May 25th.

The Orchards' road to Wembley began when they won a local tournament to represent the Seagulls, run by Albion in the Community's award-winning RSL Project.
Having conquered local rivals, Orchards today went to the regional finals of the competition hosted by Leyton Orient's community scheme, and, wearing Albion's colours, saw off teams including Millwall, Bournemouth, Northampton to make it into the final against Southend.
With the game goalless at the end of normal time, it needed an extra-time winner from Connor Chaplin to book their place under the Wembley arch.
He said, "It felt immense to score the goal.
"I just charged the pass down and was able to score. Now we get to go to Wembley and we are all very happy." |

Stuart Christie, who heads up the RSL Project, told seagulls.co.uk, "I'm really pleased for Orchards Middle School. The team represented Brighton & Hove Albion and did the club and community scheme proud.
"Everyone is now looking forward to the final at Wembley. It will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for the players and their families." |
