RSL Ardingly Residential
The RSL Football Inclusion Project provided a fantastic opportunity for 30 young people to train at the highly rated Ardingly College Facility.

The group who are aged between 9 and 16 came from all across the county and already attend to local RSL projects and clubs.

They got to spend a weekend at Ardingly and sample some the best facilities they had to offer which is normally reserved for professional clubs and players from all around Europe.

Activities included Football sessions delivered by coaches from Brighton Centre of Excellence, Futsal Training and matches, Swimming, skill challenges, fitness challenges, and small sided games.

Also at the residential was the Fire Service who delivered their Coaching for a Safer Community programme. They taught the young people about Fire Safety, Road Safety and Safety in the Home all through the medium of football keeping it fun and informative at the same time.

The trip was a great success and the young people represented the club and the project fantastically.

The continued success of the RSL project and residentials like these has opened the door for more young people to get involved in football and more trips and activities are being planned for the future.
